I have a Jeep Wrangler YJ and while it is in park or while in reverse it is starting on it's own.
There are no keys in the ignition, and i do not have auto start for this vehicle.
Thank you in advance for any help

Did you see the movie, or read the Stephen King novel "Christine"? Be afraid...very afraid.

Or, better yet..just check out the recall thing above from RenegadeWarrior.

wow, that is crazy. i would be ****ed off to come out after sleeping all night and hte jeep is running and almost out of gas.

Christine --Awsome movie, gas station scene filmed her near the house!
anyway check the ignition switch at bottom of steering column.
Could be that the screws are loose and switch has moved causing a start circuit to be made up and then energizing the starter,
