Lift kit for older jeep

Will a 3 to 6 inch lift kit and 33s or 35s hurt my jeep cherokee? Its a 98 cherokee sport with 250,000 miles on it. Runs good and transmission is still good. Just wondering if its a bad idea or not???

those are fine lifts. i had an 87 with a 5.5" lift on it and drove it all over texas. i had 31s though

Going to need 6+ of lift to get 35s under her.

So it wont hurt the transmission or anything if I put them on it since it has a quarter million miles?

No, as long as they are good now, they'll still be good

You'll be making everything work harder if that's what you mean. If you put 35s on there you may need to change your gears as well.
