You can clean the pistons if you don't have boots. Otherwise the muck stays on there and is harder on the seals. Personal preference has a lot to do with it too.

how does this kit lift your front and rear? blocks, springs, shackles...

pinaple bob, I recently lifted my 00xj, OME coils, leaf springs and shocks. Since then I have had it apart twice trying to isolate a creaking noise. It makes the same sound as the rubber weather striping makes when the vehicle flexes off road only louder!! My wife is riding my a$$ because I dropped $1500 on a new suspension and I am still not satisfied. I used Daystar poly bushings in the springs with Daystar greaseable shackles. The forward bushings do not have a grease nipple, do you think that they should have been greased prior to install? Or should they be dry?

Yeah, Um in the front it is new springs, with new shocks.

In the back it's a leaf, that you have to force in the back and a small i inch block.

As fas a y2kxj.......I would try maybe spraying a little sparay grease in the bushings if you thing that is what is wrong.
