I am hunting down the three Lighted rocker switches that fit in next to the ciggy lighter.
There not a normal size Rocker switch, slightly over the norm.
The stealership wants 12:95$ a figgin switch! I laughed in his face....sorry I couldnt resist, he said it with a straight face.
I dont want to go and start fabrecating something right now so...if ant one knows where to pick these suckers up cheap let me know.

P.S. finding a wrecked TJ that once had a hard top in the Utah area is like trying to find stupid needle in the ole hay stack

That don't seem like a bad price for factory fit switches that are lighted as well. tug

they used to have them in the quadratec catalogue but i havent seen them in a while, u can try calling and asking about them they might still have them..

I agree with Tug, $12 bucks for those switches is a very resonable price, seeing as how they are factory style. No electrical item the dealership sells for my Cherokee is that cheap

I could be wrong here, but I think those switches are the same in Cherokees from 97 up. Maybe you could find a junked one of those.

Sorry there guy's but that was 12$ A switch..cant see spending 36$ for three switches.

Pep-Boys Auto sells one called OEM Products that is a lit rocker switch that has three extendable taps on the back side and is near the same size.
All I had to do was dremel the outside and remove .125 (1/8 of an inch) off both the top and bottom and made it fit.
And if I want to fill the other two spots it will only cost me 6:68$ more.

Ya I went to the Dealership today to try and find a rocker switch for my 2003 Sport. I want to hook it up soo when I take the doors off I can just flip the switch and turn off the Door sensors insetad of taking the fuse out. I talked to the retarded guy there and the only switch that he had that would fit was a fog light switch for a 97. He wanted to charge me $25. He must be smoking something if he thought I would pay that for a switch, I guess I can live with taking the fuse out.

I just read a write up somewhere the other day about these switches. I want some myself and wondered the same. Let me look up that writeup, I know I marked it somewhere. Be back soon!

Stealerships are a trip. I went around and around with them today over an air filter. Gotta love it.
