LJ lift heigth without rear drive line modifications

So I have had Jeep number 3 now for two and a half years and the warranty is ending soon. No big deal time for some more major mods right? So my 2006 LJ is sitting with a Full traction 3 inch economy lift. I have 3/4 inch coil spring spacers in the front with the factory spring pads removed (or else it would be 1.25" spacer in the front). I also have a 1 inch daystar body lift which I like better than the performance accessories 1 inch lift I had on my old 98 sahara. This time with the body lift I did a Currie 1 inch motor mount lift, which was a pain in the butt, so far I have had no trouble with. It did take some of the angle out of the rear driveline which is good, but being it is an LJ I haven't had any trouble with it yet, which is good because I haven't modified it.

So to the question... how much lift can I do with the current set up before rear driveline will need to be switched to a CV shaft? Can I get 4" with the motor mount lift?

Not to sure what you asking,("Can I get 4''with the mml'') Let me tell you this. I have a 06 Rubi LJ ,4'' lift nothing else. No cv shaft and no problems for 3 yrs.
Does that help?
P.S. I did not drop the TC

The Rubi has a fixed rear yoke on the transfer case, so it has a slightly longer rear driveshaft than the non-Rubi. You both should be concerned with spline engagement in the rear driveshaft, the Rubi in the middle of the driveshaft and the non-Rubi at the slipyoke.

Jason, I think you will be fine as far as driveshaft angle, but I think you'll be pushing it with minimal spline engagement at the slipyoke. This can be remedied by lengthening the driveshaft slightly, or installing a yoke with a longer splined section (YJ slipyoke may be a good option).

I've got one. They allow more driveshaft droop before binding, not sure how much length they will add to spline engagement. I'll put it next to one of my TJ slipyokes and compare length.
