Loching Hubs ?

Correct me if im wrong, but on an 87 Wrangler that dosen't have locking hubs dont the front axels turn all the time? And can I put manual ones on it so they wont turn? Also has anyone done this and how hard or easy is it?

yeah i think it is fairly easy and they do sell a warn kit to do it but it costs around 600 or 700 bucks i think I could be wrong I have cj, anywa I wouldn't be too concerned with about it and if you think its dragging your front end that much replace the hub bearings. your best bet is a early bronco axle I rthink they line up pretty well to a yj. and come with locking hubs and run about 600 or oless.

My front end does not drag any at all. I was just wondering if it could be done. I suppose Jeep would not have made them like they are if it wasn't intended to be. Anyways I'll just keep on Jeepin on.
