Looking for CJ5 wheels

Have a set I'd Dick Cepek FcIIs. Looking for a set of 4 wheels, 15x8, 5x5.5. Prefer black. Don't have to be fancy, can have some wear. My jeep is for fun not for mall crawling.

Just a heads up, If your DC,s are 12.50 or wider you will need 15x10" rim or they will rub on the front springs at full turn with the narrow track axle that came on the 78,s.

Great to know. I have 15x10 right now but the putter lip flares,out about 3/8 inch and is not flush???? 15x10 due to the back space? I have a set of 1.5" spacers, wouldnt that compintance? Or just go with the 10" to be in the safe side?

Yes, because of the backspacing. 15x8 should work with spacers though. I have 15x15.50 tires on 15x10 rims and they rubed terrible, I put 1.5" spacers on and no more rub. Been where you are before but didnt use the spacers and had to sell the 15x8 and get 15x10 when I was running 33x12.5.

See I have 15x10 on them now, but there is a 1/4 gap in the very edge of the lip of the wheel. I had some TSL supper swampers on before 31x14x15. I'm just ****ed got these tires and ,outed for cheap, just to find out the wheels have that issue. I orders 1.5 inch spacers so that will be ready whenever I find some wheels. Since I have the engine torn down to the block right now, waiting for some valve/head work. Not in a real hurry right now. But still want the wheels.

@flatie, I misunderstood your post, thought you were saying I wished I had a YJ. Well for now I'm a one jeep guy, when I get back from Korea I'll be looking to do a frame up build on a 7. Love my 5 but I think I'll keep it as a trail And keep it as jeep as possible, I.e AMC 304....... When I build the 7. Looking to make it a little crazy. Modern engine, EFI, ......WE'll see for now. Still learning and loving it.
