Looking to beef up my YJ any suggestions?

All of these ideas got me really thinking! I sat down and thought about it and this is what I came up with..... I'm gonna swap axles front and rear to the Dana 44 and keep the 4 cyl just because it has low miles and runs excellent. If anything I'll put an intake and throttle body spacer on it with a performance exhaust to squeeze a little more power out of it ... .I'm in the process of getting it ready to install the new lift I've decided on the bds 5"" and run a 33" tire and regear to 4:88 .as for lockers I'm thinking simple no electronics or air lines so I've decided on running a Detroit in the rear and the Detroit tru Trac in Front .bottom line I'm just trying to keep it simple and easy to work on/ maintain and I think this will be a pretty dern good setup!

Not to change the subject but I figured while I have it all torn apart might as well paint the frame. any suggestions on a good coating/ rust inhibitor ?I've heard good things about por 15 anybody use this stuff how does it hold up?

I've used POR15 and it's some great stuff. Consider using the topcoat with UV protection over the POR15 when using it on an exterior surface like the frame.
