manual vs automatic

I like the manual for better control over engine speeds on trails and through mud holes. that being said it sucks if you got a trail that's inconsistent in its terrain. out in Ocala i found myself constantly shifting gears because I wanted to save gas/ make sure I can get through what I need to.

Manual for me. I wheel a lot of tight trails with tight turns, and with having spools in both axles, it's easier to clutch and roll back to make a multi-point turn than it is to stop, shift, back, stop, shift, forward, repeat. And I like being able to choose the right gear for climbs.

I love the low speed torque multiplication from the auto. But I love the 7000rpm clutch drops in the middle of a mud hole. I personally prefer the auto but I wheel both.

A Jeep is made for a Manuel. If you are a semi to serious offroader you want Manuel. Bottom line it gives you more options and gear to rpm ratio. IM sorry don't want to offend anyone but an automatic Jeep is a highway Jeep maybe even a beach.cruzer at best.

Who is Manuel? Why do they make Jeeps just for him?
