I'm a cop and 90% of the time I'm armed. That said If I were in a active shooter situation in a jammed packed store with my family. I would make sure I got us to a safe place where we would be less likly to get run over. I would then sit in wait with my gun drawn and out of sight. The shooter will most likely not expect someone armed would be waiting around the next turn. If nothing came my way I would be the best witness because of my integrety and attention to details. Even if I never put lead down range. Just like at work Its my main job to go home to my family safe every night.

Some states now have passed laws where stores or employers can't have you arrested if you carry on their property. Walmart for example is not allowed to call the cops and have you arrested in Pasco County F. All they can do is ask you to leave the premises. If you refuse, then the cops will get involved. It used to be that if they knew you had a gun in your possession, they will automatically call the cops. I always carry because at least I have a chance to defend my self or my family. When only the perp has a chance to fire, there isn't much of what you can do. My military training helps me do physically and mentally deal with it. I have dealt with real enemies so I am not override of punks with guns. I personally carry where I ever go. It is a personal decision. If you consider to carry, you better make sure that you are ready to kill in case the situation demand is..... Killing a person is not easy, not fun and will be with you for the rest of your life regarding that you were right or wrong about doing it..... If you ever shoot at someone, don't ever look them in the eyes... It will stay with you forever!

God bless. I agree with you 100%. The safety of your family comes first. I will do what ever it takes to protect my children and my wife ( in that particular order). Carrying a concealed weapon requires training and a cool head. It takes lots of time to practice what you will do and how you will react. If you are not ready, don't carry.

LOL, LOL, LOL..... How true is that. I can see the headlines: Quadratec's website crashes due to Black Friday. Insane Jeep owners takes up to the hills and they all get stuck in the mud as Christmas Eve approaches!
