hey i got a 1995 jeep cheorkee and i need to know where i can get a new one and the reason it there for. the rubber hose that connects into the canister, that runs along the firewall it's something to do with the fuel system. also would it make the check engine light come on.

You can get that hose from a local parts store. It's an emission line. You can remove it and match the inner diameter and lenght with the new one.
