Need help tracking down a part

Okay, so I've had my 97 cherokee sport for 8 out of its 11 years and finally the pneumatic cylinder looking things on the trunk that hold it open for you have gone kaput.

Problem is, I don't know what they're called, and the part numbers have worn off due to use, so I have no idea what to search for online to try and replace them.

Can someone help me out with a name for the part, or a part number?

Advance Auto Parts carries a generic one that works fine. Bought two for my old Cherokee a couple of years ago. Installation took 20 to 30 minutes total from opening the lift gate to closig it with new ones added.
