Alright today was supposed to the big day i went and got my Jeep back from the shop.So of course i waited in agony for two days w/out my TJ.I call them up today and they tell me i probably wont get it back today b/c it is at the alignment shop.I ask them what time they took it to the alignment shop and they say 4:00 in the afternoon. And this shop closes at 5.So now i am pissed .I ask them why in the world they waited to 4 to take it there. They tell me that the Rustys rear UCAs are too long and that held them up.So they throw the stupid T-case drop lift on there w/out my permission and set it up that way. Then they say oh ya your Flowmaster was too close to the cv shaft and they just decided they should cut it off.Just Great! So they send it to some alignment shop and they are supposed to do the muffler work too. They tell me they werent to sure they were even sure they were supposed to do the muffler work. They also tell me that my muffler was trashed!I have had the dang thing for only 3 months! So now i am furious w/ Rustys and both shops! Now i cant get the Jeep till monday and we had planned a huge offroad trip w/ like 20 guys and i am one of the guys forming it and getting it together. Now i feel bad b/c i cant go and I dont want to organize this thing when i wont even be able to go.I think i am going to explode!

Life Sucks then you die! They will need to fix the exaust back and make it all right again or else would not pay the bill. Tug[addsig]

Every time you put your rig in the shop for any reason, you are at the mechs mercy. Know your mechanic or do the work yourself whenever possible. :-( [addsig]

I don't blame you...I would be steamed too :-x I would still go to the outing though...ride with a buddy (I know that's not the idea), better than nothing!! Don't worry, they will make it right one way or another...we've all been there at one time or another! Hang in there, Patti[addsig]

OK i went and picked up my TJ today, DROOL , and the shop was real nice about it and real polite and ended up knocking some money off for my time and problems. Now everything is fine and the Jeep is home in the driveway. They fixed everything on it and the muffler turned out to be fine that other shop didnt know what they were talking about. Will get some picks posted as soon as possible.

Im real happy w/ it so far it handles well on the road. And for all the naysayers out there you can easily do 70 in a TJ w/ 35s without it running off the road. All i need now is a rear track bar b/c my relocation bracket is for a 4 inch lift and now my rear tires are off a little w/ the 2" spacers.

Yeah you can do 70 but you have 4.56 gears and probably a 4.0...try that with a 2.5L and stock gears. Trust me it aint gonna happen.[addsig]
