new jeep owner

Hello everyone, just starting off saying I'm brand new to this jeep thing. Just bought A 95 grand cherokee and I'm loving it so far! But my question is, when I'm on the highway I run at about 4000-4500 rpms consistently at 70-80mph. Is that normal for a jeep that age? Is it because the all time 4 wheel drive? Thanks in advance
