Doing a small project on this jeep i bought, i rust proofed it and cleaned the frame, stripped all the inside, the floor is mint! Brought it back to bare metal and used bed liner to recover it, i changed oil in both diffs and add a new steering stabiliseri don't plan on buying much stuff but i have all kind of plans for the esthetic restoration

So lately i have been doing a lot of cleaning, took my rusty shocks off cleaned and painted them with new bushings and protector. I finished restoring the floor, changed oil in both diffs, cleaned a lot the frame with the grinder and a brush, oil sprayed everything with chainsaw oil and took off the gas tank changed a filter and cleaned the cover that was full of mud, slowly making my way toward the front, inwould like to take the cab off to do a better job but maybe next summer, oh and i took the skidplate off to maybe build a longer one, lots of projects, its not much but enjou the pics

Thank you! So now i have a question, i don't really want to upgrade my diffs but the rear one is noisy, my plan was to find diffs from a 2.5L 4.10 tj, im only running 33' and not planning on getting bigger, if i would find cheap rubicon dana44 for pieces it would be awesome but it almost doesn't exist... I dont really want to go with ford 8.8 or anything that you have to weld brackets... Not planning harcore rockcrawling lol

So if anybody wants to give ideas feel free, dont want to spend more than 5-600$ just want something reliable nothing abusive

In time i would like to be able to lock it, the idea i like best would be ox lockers because most of the time i want to ride open, let me know what you think!

A Rubicon D44 would be nice, but you're right, they are pretty hard to find. You could purchase a bolt in 8.8 from East Coast Gear:

Here's few upgrades i did lately on my never ending tj project, it's a slow mod as i cant work on it as much as i would like...

So i fixed my rear end problem, my pinion bearing were done, i found a used diff same gear ratio as mine for 100$ and it works perfect, so happy!!!

I bought bucket seats to change my old dirty seats, only have to adapt the railing to fit them perfectly

I also cut my old fenders just to try it, i have some brand new if i dont like the look, only need to paint them black to look good!

Hey, I like the cut fender flare! I haven't seen that before.

It does make your tires look alot smaller though
