hi there..!!

i'm about to place new springs under my cj 5 ( 1979 ) but am still not sure wich springs to buy...
i want to stay on a 4 inch lift...
what are the pro's and contra's of skyjacker, rancho, black diamond and especially procomp because there the cheapest for me to buy..

and what about the lift...is it better to have 2,5 inch springs with longer shackles or just take a 4 inch kit with revolver shackles...our even standard shackles ?

Any advice is welcome here...

70 % of my driving is off road but i want to be able to keep it between the lines on the road...

Pro comp..yuck the sag out...Rancho are stiff and $$$. I would go with RE and think about switching to yj springs for more flex and better ride. Keep the 4" and stock or stockish length.

No on the Trailmaster. Strange to hear the comments on the Rancho. The set that used to be on my CJ were great. Of course there is no telling how old they were. Rode like a Caddy though.
Skyjacker and BDS are pretty good also.

What kind of money do you intend to spend (estimate american dollars)?

Rubicon Express and BDS are both very good.

it's not the money...i think that the springs and shocksare the last items to try and save money on so that's not really an isue <<is that spelled correct ?
however rubicon express is not easy to get here and i have never heard of bds ?
i know procomp is a stiff ride but are they okay for flexing....that's what's important to me..
My 5 is not a soft ride anyways....
skyjacker is supposed to be a sloppy ride on road ??

maybe rancho's then ??

BDS is short for Big D!ck Suspension. Trying searching that way.
