Hey I'm plaaning on doing the nutter bypass on my cj tomorrow and was wondering if anyone had some extra input on the subject beside whats in the tech articles. Thanks in advance

Well I did do the nutter bypass and there was slight improvement for low end torque , by the way I do have some pictures of the bypass. The problem was i didn't like the way it rode as much by having the vacuum advance come from the ported vacuum, becauseanytime i let off the gas ported vacuum wuold be lost and so would my vacuum advanced timing.

Besides that it ran great, I ended up switching it back. I have the vacuum system on my jeep down to a svelt 12 feet of tubing a far cry from the 42 feet it came from the factory with and the carter carb works pretty well for a computer controlled peice of crap. In general its a simple upgrade most people should use if you have consistent problems with their carter carb. computer ignition. I do recommend the heatshrink tubing and solder it makes the job look cleaner.
