Offroading Sites Wanted

I am taking a long trip in my motorhome this summer and dragging my Jeep. I am looking for some suggestions to get off the road a little ... in the Jeep, not the motorhome. :) I will be driving from north central Idaho back to Florida, through Wyoming, Utah and Colorado ... no special route planned yet. Anyone out there with any suggestions? FYI, my Jeep is NOT set up for serious offroading. It is a daily driver on the street. So I don't need any suggestions about dangerous or tough spots ... this is just for fun in someplace that is not just sand! Thanks!

Gosh I Was wondering .... with no replies ... if this is too tough of a question. Anyone out there have any suggestions?

If you happen to be heading through the mountains of North Carolina, there are tons and tons of Forest Service roads (2 National Forests in the area)........very, very scenic and not real demanding, if you don't want them to be. Check the U.S. Forest Service website for maps........Nantahala National Forest and Pisgah National Forest. And, of course, the State of North Carolina has some very interesting "State" roads........a whole lot of them unpaved.

Now since your going through Utah you should hit Moab. There are about 31 trails that a non-modified jeep can run. A good source to those trails can been seen in Wells book. Plus there is also great drives through Arches national park, Canyon lands, Zion, and Bryce Canyon.
I would also suggest some of Utah's state parks...
Personally I love Goblin Valley, it along with Bryce, they both offer the most bizarre landscapes to drive through.

If you need more links or info please feel free to PM me.
