With winter approaching I'm sort of forced to buy a new carb. I've been procrastinating for months but now I have some extra cash. I found a motorcraft 2150 1.08 for $125. tell me if yall think this one will work.

that will work just fine, but for what its worth I paid a little less from autozone and if anything happened I didnt have to send it out somewhere if it ends up being junk. other than that you will need an adapter, Im sure that someone here knows the part number. I think it is a mr.gasket part number 1937, but not sure. Great upgrade by the way, I installed one of these to replace my pos weber, that replaced my pos carter carb. :roll:

I don't think there's an autozone in these parts. I think this one looks nice and all the ones ive found on ebay have been for about that price. I'm goin back home to Raleigh this weekend so I might check out autozone there and see if they've got one. Ya that adapter is a mr. gasket no 1937. Right now I've got that carter on there and the things been rebuilt 3 times and still runs like crap.
