What kind of intake tube is that? :scratch: Is it a home-made C.A.I.? Kinda looks like that with a Tupper-Ware bowl on top of the intake.

snorkle was made from a pvc drain. i cut the center to match a steel ring and flipped it to form a dome over the carb. a hole saw in the side for the pvc tube and a rubber end cap on the top to hold it down tight. i made a rubber sealing ring to fit it to the 2150. about $25.00 tops and it worked great. i have a disc of pics of how to make a cheap snorkle and the 2150 conversion somewhere around here. I got swamped on a run in the middle of a nasty pond b4 the snorkle but cruzed right through after ! i will be hooking it back up to the 318 as i used the same carb from the 258.

got some jeep time in 2 day to fit the combo up. all the drive shafts are perfect length ! the t case shifter moved back a little. might just cable shift transmission too.
