Finished my body lift the other day. Here's some pictures of what the 3" body lift looks like. Doesn't look too bad in the rear since the gap is mostly hidden by the rear bumper/tire carrier. I'm gonna fab up something out of fiberglass to hide the gap in the front. As for doing the lift, everything went smoothly except the one broken body mount bolt in the rear passenger side. We had to cut a hole in the body underside to get at the broken bolt. Just pulled out the old one and put in a nut and large washer...no big deal. As for extending the steering shaft, it's not needed. The shaft will extend out enough on it's own and there's no extension bracket needed. I'm thinking about not doing my SOA now and just lifting the motor and doing a belly up on the transmission/transfercase.
