power chip

Im looking for a power chip on ebay, but cant seem to find one for jeep. But see tons of them for the dodge ram 5.2, Does the jeep share the same computer? Im only looking to spend $30-$50, any suggestions would be helpful

You can spend 75 cents and put a resistor into your coolant temp sensor that will trick the computer. The 300 dollars for a gas programmer isn't worth it. If it was a diesel it would be a diff story. Then you would see big gains. We had a dyno at work and we tested diff programmers on diff veh the most we seen was 8 hp on a hemi truck. But we also seen a host of driveability problems.

Good luck. I have been looking for a good program for my 5.2l GC for 7 years. Most don't change anything worth the money. The 5.2 is amazing stock as is. Just put a cold air intake and call it a day.

Right on.. so far thats all im hearing from people.. I just had a flowmaster put on a few days ago. I love it! And ordered an intake. So i guess thats its it. Im thinking i may get a high flow cat as well.
