Rear Tire Carriers/Bumpers

Gone&DoneIt

Hey All,
Wanted to let ya'll in on a sweat tire carrier and bumper set up here in Vegas. There is a new company in town that are producing some wonderful quality carrier and bumpers combinations for Jeeps. The company has been making high performance sand rails for a while and began branching their interests into other markets. I will be getting mine installed Monday and will post a ton of pics, but the price is great, the quality on the ones I have seen on friends rigs is impeccable, and their customer service is second to none. I asked one of the partners to sign up, so if anyone is interested they can get information directly form him. I'll let you know when I hear he is on.

Look for pics early next week.

Thanks All,

Jack

Do you know if they'll be incorporating a trail rack into that carrier combo? So far the only one i've seen that I like the look of is the Wilderness set up.

They are custom designed. For example, I wanted mine with:
A can holder
High Lift Jack
NO hitch
and welded to the frame

Pretty basic I know,... but I didnt need all that much. I ususally wheel pretty close to home and dont have any kids, so I don't need much more than the tub will hold with the backseat out usually. The guys were great. They are also branching out into fenders, front bumpers, possibly Toyota bumpers, so I have no doubt if you talk with these guys they could put something together for you. I am going to work with him on a set of full rear fenders with 6" flares, very similar to the ones offered by Poison Spyder. I think what I liked best was on several issues their response was to buy a retail product, becuase, while they could do it, it would be quicker for me, and slightly cheaper due to mass production, to buy from some of the manufactureres. I like it when someone is honest and is willing to turn away a few bucks to see the customer happy.

Anyway,... it's going on today. Pics tonight.

do they have a web site with some photos and what not, also are they looking into doing them, and other items for the wjs, or are they already doing wjs? I'm looking at replacing my rear bumper in the near future.

They will have a website soon (I am making it :D ). Will be posting pics tonight. I am really pleased. They went above and beyond to make it solid, and still look slick. Shea, the partner I mentioned above, is looking to expand into several different product lines. I will post his contact info later (I have no doubt he will be fine with it, but want to ask first) for those interested.

any new info?
Just got back from Moab. The carrier worked GREAT! I stood it up at one point and the tire carrier held (to be honest, I was a little surprised, I slammed it back really hard.)
I have posted a few from Moab so you can see the design, I will try to get some close up shots as soon as possible.

I've been fighting for a while now to insert the photos directly into the post, and can't figure out how. So I have added them to my gallery under members photos. You can check them out there Laph.

Shea is working a double the next three days, and asked me to tell you he will shoot you a PM on Thursday or Friday with his info, and pricing and all that jazz.

Hope this helps.

Well, looks darn nice on your Jeep. sounds like a plan looking for it to look something like this

With a place for High Lift, 2 gas cans, and 2 D Ring Tabs. If you would pass along the info. After I get that then I can rip the gas tank out and mount Higher :)

Hello all,my name is Shea Irwin ,AKA Brokejeep on other forums. Thanks Jack for the good word on my bumpers, but my true appreciation will be shown through the purchase of Heineken on your next visit to the shop.As for my bumpers ,I have been making these out of my garage for about two years off and on and have recently partnered with some other guys that own Scorpion Motorsports who specialize in high performance sand rails and off road fabrication.I have been focusing on Jeep bumpers for YJs and TJs but am expanding to other vehicles as well.I have recently purchased some tools that will hopefuly increase my productivity as well as quality while still keeping the cost far below my competitors. This all started as a hobby for me,I wanted a carrier for my YJ but was unwilling to part with the huge amount of money that is asked for a quality bumper,so I chose to make one.People started to ask me about them and if I would make one for them, and now here I am.
I can be reached anytime on my cell or at the shop most mornings.I do have a full time job so if I dont answer, leave a message and I will get back to you.We are also setting up accounts with several quality manufacturers of off road parts so give me a call ,maybe I can help you find what you need.
