Rhino/Bed Liner

Thinking about having the inside of my YJ Rhino Lined.
I was talking to a guy the other day who said it would chip in places and you couldnt get the rest off. I am under the impression Rhino Liner (Professionally done) should last pretty much the life of my jeep.
Anyone have the inside Lined? how is it doing?

Try to search and look up a thread titled "Rhino Liner or DIY". There's some good options and good info. But really, regardless of the material, if it's not prepped right the rust will continue and the material will fail/flake.

Go talk to your local line X I have been considering this for a long time just have other things I want to but for the jeep first my dad line x his pick up like 4 years ago and the stuff looks brand new I got a quote to get it done to the TJ and they told me 800 and it's an extra 200 or 300 to change the color go to the line x website and check it out

Linex may be way better but it's also way more expensive! If your building on a budget, then there are other comparable options out there. But if you can afford it, Linex is a good choice. They all have their flaws such as flacking, overly rough, fading colors, ext! Just research your options so you can make an informed decision.

I bought my YJ 1 1/2 years ago, already rhino lined inside and the top was done inside and out too. So far no problems at all and it looks great. I figured if it ever developed a bad spot I would just patch it. It makes the top heavier, but better, I think.

why pay that kind of money when with a little work YOU can grizzly grip it . $80.00 and spend the rest on something for the jeep that you want. I personally think its easy to do and it holds up great. what rust you cant get to use a $5.00 spray on rust converter and you will be ok. we did my son's inside AND out with their bright red and it is beautiful grizzly can be patched with just a little wipe down with their reducer . for a fraction of the cost and a little elbow grease you can have your cake and eat it too !

The reason I was wondering about Rhino Liner was my Nephew does it at his body shop and will do it for free but I just didnt know how well it lasted.

Oh! Well yes it will last and it will look good! And everything looks better when it's free:) If you have that kind of opportunity I would most certainly take advantage of it!

Got any pics of that work you can share? That sounds very interesting.

80.00 is very cheap...but for the REST of you who have neither the room nor the desire for something messy (yes is does/can/will get messy) My Linex guy In Baltimore charges 100.00 for the frame any color and 200.00 for the tub any color....and takes 2 days for frame and tub... 300.00 bux and 2 days...saved me time to do other mods.....so it really depends on you the individual and how involved you want to be in the rebuild process...

That is really cheep the guy I got a quote from said 800 for the tub and he will not do anything as far as the underbody goes and he told me fender flairs would be 400 and to change the color from anything other than black it would be an extra 200-300 bucks (this is In Omaha NE by the way)

I'd say maybe he needs to streamline his process...idk

My nephew told me the spray for the Rhino liner would be $80.00 His cost to do the inside of my Jeep. So I guess thats about what it cost them to do it and there is not alot of equipment involved. Glad he owes me a favor!
