roof rack

ok, i just got a roof rack from the junkyard off of another xj, but the little torx seals ripped...i was wondering if there was anywhere i could order them from for cheap...ill post a pic as soon as i can...

dealer? just take a different one to a hardware store and have the guy match the threads.

What year and what exactly do you need? a pic would help... I have a complete factory rack sitting in the barn.

its a 96 xj and the seals that the torxhead bolts go into...basically what holds the rack to the roof..

The female threads that the torx bolts go into are sticking out of my roof... not something that could be removed without bodywork.

id post pics if i could..but its like the female end which is like a rubber plug..

A little silicone works wonders. Used it on the wife's after repainting it.

i said screw it to making the grommets work...they had dry rotted a little so i took self drilling screws and mounted it like that...and if it happens to leak, ill take if off and seal with silicone... thanks for all of your guys' help..
