running water?

I have a very unusual problem with my 95 Grand Cherokee. when first starting in the morning everything seems normal, then when I start to drive I get the sound of tricking water or the sould of a small creek with running water in the passenger side dash. It may last for a minute or so then goes away. I have also noticed the coolant level is slowly going down. What is going on. when I park for two or three days no coolant on the ground. A friend suggusted the heater core is bad. Heater works fine. Any ideas or help would be greatly appriciated.:???:

Check the HVAC drain for restrictions. look under the passenger carpet and see if it's wet.

Sounds like the drain for the evap core, it often gets clogged in the Grands and causes the pass. floorboard to get wet. There are some cheap fixes covered in some web write-ups.
