Should I do a body lift too?

I just installed my 2" coil spacer lift with brand new shocks. Everything looks great with my 31x10.5 tires (see picture). Now that everything is working and nothing is being worked on, I want to make it better.

I was planning on selling my 31's and buying some 33x12.5's instead. I know they will fit under my 2" lift, but I was wondering if I should install a 1" body lift as well. I wasn't sure how difficult that was to do, as well as how it affects the Jeep's performance offroading. Any comments/suggestions?

I would install a 1" body lift---it's not to hard---and your going to need all the room you can get if you disconnect your front sway bar and take it off road.

it really all depends on what you have going on.... i know you have a tj but does it have any rust?? i did a body lift on my yj and came across 3 broken bolts because of rust. overall, the body lift was fairly easy as long as everything works for you.. I did have an issue with my t-case shifter but i think the tj setup is 10000000 times better. another thing to remember is your body mount bushings.... mine were crap so i replaced them with energy suspension polyurethane ones. also go with a good company with a trusted name and a kit that is COMPLETE meaning it has all bolts, risers, misc. tubes for lengthening gas tank lines, extension of t-case shifter, and radiator lowering brackets (i installed an electric fan so mine were not used). in most cases a good body lift is going to cost at least about $100. dont forget lock-tite and re-torque after 500 miles.
