SPRAY on bedliner...

Run Forest, Run !

If I'm guessing the stuff in a spray can will spit and splatter everywhere BUT where you want it to and then terminaly clog the nozzel well before you get half of the product out just for your convienence.

The only DIY bedliner system I saw that I figure is worth the time is one I saw installed twice on truck shows, once on "two guys garage" and I think Stacey on "Trucks" did it also.

Try this

Herculiner

I use Dupli-color truck bed coating in a rattle can that I get from Checkers...works great and holds up well in a Utah snow storm.

the rattle can stuff works ok.i used it on my floorboards.its not as gritty as the roll on or pro spray on.does the job though.

Used a rattle can liner for my primer befor I rolled on durabac liner worked well.

I've had pretty good success with the dupli-color stuff. I rattled my Grill and fender extensions and they are holding up real well. I couldn't find the rattle stuff but got a quart of roll on Dupli-color when I did my doors. It holds well on the sheet metal but I did not rough up the door handles good enough (they were chromed). They are flaking and need to be touched up again. This spring I'll sandblast the chrome off.
Just be sure to rough things up really well. It gives it something to hold onto.

I used qwikliner on my jeep.QWIK Liner is a permanently bonded a protective barrier between body and the outside environment, protecting your investment from rust, dents, scratches, and chemical corrosion.

I looked this up and I couldn't see any DIY kits. I have a compresser but I wouldn't have too many customers willing to trapes out here on the desert for a bed shoot so I wouldn't want the buisness kit. I'd like to do my 3B here soon but I ain't hauling it cross 3 counties, and two states to get it done. I was looking for something a brain-baked ignorant desert trash could do at home cheap. Has anyone tried Herculiner?:???:

I have Qwikliner and it works well. QWIK LINER Spray-On bedliner is industry proven to provide your truck bed with anti skid, permanent abrasion-resistant protection. The unique flexible, textured, non-porous lining is easy to clean and will not warp, crack or peel.

This is all sweet n dandy but there is no single DIY kit that I could see :shades: . They only have the 10 year supply for 300 thousand vehicles or some crap like that. Don't want to open a buisness, just want to spray ONE little Jeep.

Dude quit with your spamming...no one here is going to become a dealer for your crappy product.

To the original poster, if you use the stuff in a can, be sure to prep the surface very well first...otherwise it can tend to flake off very easily. It will still wear down faster than a more professional product, but hell it's easy to just spray more on. The only problem I've had with some when I sprayed it on my floor boards, is it would start to melt from the transmission/engine heat under the floor and my shoes would stick in it like gum. Haha.

I use whatever generic "rubberized" paint I can find to paint the lower trim pieces, bumpers, and fenders on my XJ every couple of years. It works well, is cheap, looks good, and protects against rock chips, rust, etc. I invested in the $2.39 can handle trigger attachment thing too though. Definitely worth it, it saves the fingers from extreme cramping over a long painting session. It's not a once and your Jeep is done for life kind of thing but it's cost me maybe $36 bucks over the life of my Jeep to respray every 2 years or so.

I just now ordered GrizzlyGrip for my Jeep8) The outside will be spray cans. that way who cares when the desert bushes leave their mark down the side, spray it away:shades:

That spray can stuff gets real soft in sun and gets all over everything because if you read the can it says "RUBBERIZED TAR" its really undercoating

I used the dura liner roll on stuff and love it and it don't melt in the sun like some of those others

I've heard of GrizzlyGrip and was thinking about it. I assume since you use it, you'd say it's a pretty good product? How does it hold up?

I have no idea to be truthful with ya. I just applied it a few days ago and the tub is off chassis on a home made rotisserie. I can say it went on real easy, and was great to work with. Also, I had a question about the application and Emailed the manufacturer on a SUNDAY, and recieved an instant reply.

Hmm.. Tell me how it holds up when you figure it out. Been looking for something so i can remove my carpeting.
