Ive been having this squeaking noise when accelerating from 1st 2nd and 3rd gear. I goes away after a couple of seconds but it sounds like its coming from the rear. its the kind of noise brakes make when they need replaced but I dont believe thats the problem. any input?
With the Jeep in gear, grab the driveline and see if there's any give at the U joints, should be tight. If you have a mechanics stethiscope this may help you localize the squeak.
