Tailgate conversion

Hey i was wondering if anyone knows anything about a tailgate conversion for a 94 jeep yj. And if it is hard to do or not.

if you have a YJ, you could also just get a CJ tail gate, drill some holes for the hinges and be done. you will have to make up some type of backing plate though.

Ok cool i will check it out. Would the cj tailgate be the same dimentions as the YJ Jeep tailgate.

yes a YJ and CJ tailgate are dimentionally the same.

I have a swag offroad tailgate kit, I like it. I is simple to install, but you have to paint or have everything powdered first. Great little project...
