The Day of Reckoning comes closer!!!

My Little 31" Goodyear MTR's pulled me through some serious mud yesterday. I will say their lateral traction left a bit to be desired(on & off road), but I went through some stuff that I thought for sure would let me break in my Hi-Lift! Sand, water covered deep mud holes, thick clay slop - they rocked! They are pretty good street tires too. They were not my first choice, and wouldn't have bought them if not for a bargain, but I would definately get another set.

The Dunlop Mud Rovers are great mud tires. They are not the most street friendly though. They are notorious for "cupping" when they see alot of pavement.

eat_sleep_Jeep - I read that same review/test. I thought they gave pro-Comp a raw deal by testing the Xterrains vs other mud tires. Why didn't they test the pro-comp mud terrain?

You never hear much about the pro comp muds. They have a traditional mudder lug pattern but have siping which is kinda rare for an MT. If they didn't measure so small I'd want to try a set.

Twisted chopper -sorry a little slow here "Cupping"?

RE: game

Cupping is when the lug wears uneven from front to back, leaving the lugs with a fan-like look(that's the best way I could think of to describe it). It usually happens when a tire is under-inflated or the alignment is off.

That's copper, like the element
