Jordin Sparks from American Idol lip synched the National Anthem. I agree with you. I was raised the same way. Respect God, Country, and your elders. If you didnt do all three, you got a swift kick in the A**. When I am at a ballgame, etc., I sing along with my hat off and my hand over my heart. But, I will be the first to tell you I cant sing a lick!
