TJ Control Arm Mount

I bent the lower control arm brackets on the front axle of a '00 TJ. I ordered a set from Rusty's. They appear to be cut at a 90 deg. angle to the axle. The stock mounts are angled slightly inward. From what I could figure, it's about 4 deg shy of 90. Can anybody confirm or correct this? Or does it really matter?

give rusty's a call maybe they can shed some light on the problem for you 8)

your stock control arm mounts are welded on at an inward angle. alot of the after market ones weld on completely perpendicular to the axle tubes. Monst aftermarket ones are tougher for guys with lifts and aftermarket arms. The frame rails bend in towards the front of the jeep and so do your contol arms. If you put that constant bind on the bushings it will quickly wear them out. Thus the new mounts need to be at an angle as well
