Track bar conversion!!!!

Hello all jeep peeps,

I'm am new to the forum and new to jeeps and I would like to say I'm stoked to find a forum like this. But anyways I have a 95 xj 4.0 HO and I heard about this death wobble for awhile and I decided to do some research and I heard there is a track bar (pan hard) conversion. But I just heard about I actually haven't looked for it or anything. So my question is - Have any of you guys heard of this or is this complete fiction?

Welcome to the Z. I don't know of any conversion but for maybe the adjustable track bar. If you don't have DW now, I wouldn't worry about it.

Thank u thank u. Ya I just heard of it. But I'm not worrying about it right now I just wanted to know how to prevent it when I was researching it

Death Wobbles that are the result of a trac bar issue is generally prevelant in Linked type suspension. (tj, zj, xj, mj, etc..) your YJ has leaf springs front and rear. you can remove your trac bars and will not experience any change. in fact I suggest removing your rear trac bar, not needed.

Your XJ has a front trackbar only, no rear trackbar. DW is prevalent in XJ's so be sure to keep everything tight.

My xj has a rear track bar

The XJ Grand Wagoneer has front and rear track bars. Regular wagoneer just front.
