Transfer case leakin while Jeep is in motion

Oh ok. I didn't know it was newer tj. I can't see veh info I can only log on on my phone. I've seen the out put bearing worn and cause seal leaks as well as a cracked rear housing. Couldn't see the crack and it looked just like the seal.

Thanks Bounty Hunter, I will give it a whirl and see if I can find the leak using your suggestion. I wonder, is there that big of a difference between a seal from the dealer and A-zone?

Did you grease the slipyoke on the driveshaft when you reinstalled it? If you didn't it could possibly have nicked the new seal enough to cause a leak.

The largest difference I've seen is most parts stores have the incorrect seal listed for the rear output. They often have the YJ rear seal listed for the TJ and it doesn't seal tightly around the output shaft. It's a noticeable gap.
