Re: transfercase
I may be wrong but I do not think the 205 will fit between your frame rails. It is a big t-case, an awful lot of beef for a v6 in a light weight CJ. The rear shaft will be very short I would bet about 14".
:agree:yes like stated in your first post but drive shafts will be way too short

your questions theres tons of info on these conversions and get the correct answer the first time from someone like me who already done this conversion
If you want to do it right you need to do the research to help you through the tough spots you'll find diagrams and all kinds of good pointers on the do's and dont's done with this conversion and also find all the parts needed through vendors and other donor vehicles at the cheapest prices , I also added to the list on google with correct part numbers and cost from each vendor I used, also a step by step break down of all parts used and cost with a total cost to look forward too before you reach the empty stop point , this list should help with a good budget and point you in the direction your needing to go , google cj3b conversions, or cj5 conversions or even parts list needed cj series jeep conversions ,
If you do your own homework you will find more about every question you asked over and over !!!
Just remember is there for your use and point s you to the easiest ways to accomplish what your trying to tackle.
Good luck on your conversion and don't be afraid to do research If I can find the post I wrote about 2 months ago I'll post the link , it had a list of every site and all the articles I used with my conversion Its somewhere on this site just have to remember where I posted it .
