used YJ lift "kit" help

the center pivot of the CV should move freely, but if you have side to side slop, it's junk. I wouldn't call it a conversion, more like an adaption.

i run 4" RC lift on my 92 yj with no sway bars and stock pitman arm. no problems. the springs from RC are stiff so still a pretty solid ride but you can feel the weight move around more going around turns without the swaybars. can also run with or without the trackbars. some say u can feel the axle travel on its own a little bit. try it out and see how u like it. if you take them off you'll save money on the bracket for extending the trackbars or buying adjustable ones. you can use the stock steering stabalizer too. and for the transfer case a couple simple 1"in spacers either homemade or store bought will do the trick.

I did find the t-case spacers in a bag, so I actually do have those. A friend gave me his swaybar links and I am going to convert to a removable type (nut and bolt, top and bottom). The trac-bars I will take out and see what it feels like. Why is a dropped pitman arm not needed? I don't know anything about steering geometry etc., so any info would be greatly appreciated.
