Very Random YJ Hardstart

Hey guys, been awhile since i posted...

Anyways, here is my current problem.
I have a 2.5L 95 Wrangler YJ that is hard starting.

It doesnt appear to be anything mechanical, or temperature related.

If in the morning, I get in my jeep and try and start it, it cranks and everything but never fires.

If I turn the key to accessories on, after waiting a minute I will hear a subtle tapping noise coming from the engine bay, after which the check engine light will turn on.

After this, the jeep will fire right up. But, it will not start until I hear this noise.

Any one have any clue what I'm talking about?

my 1990 wrangler 2.5 does the exact same thing, but nobody knows what it is.

how technical is to change a map sensor?

How would i be able to verify this is the problem?

i just replaced my map sensor yesterday, and it still does the same thing. the map sensor is very easy to change. it is in the center of the firewall at the top closest to the hood. theres 2 screws.

i just put a new ecm in my yj and now it starts right up
