Viper winch

I just bought a viper winch on eBay. Has anyone ever seen one in action? I seen alot of reviews and they seem pretty good. 10000# got it for $330 new.

my buddy had one and still does. Its 3 years old and still strong!!!! Good purchase!!! hopefully this doesnt turn into a "go buy a warn its better" thread. I dont think it will though the people on this forum are a lot nicer than others.

Personally, I think warn winches are extremely overpriced. I've been looking at wishes for quite a while now, and I was actually thinking of going with a viper myself. Most people seem to say they're dependable, and long lasting. I think you made a good purchase.

I should get it tomorrow, I'll let you know what it's like.
I guess they been making winches for atv's for along time.

got the viper yesterday, it sure looks tough.

Hey! I didn't know you had a black YJ! That's what I've got! Now I can see just how nice mine will look. Did you get a mounting plate for it, or were you able to just bolt it to the bumper? It looks damn good man. Nice work.

Got a mounting plate from a buddy, but my plan is to build one into the bumper I'm making.
