voltage issue

87 YJ Wrangler voltage meter would read about 10 amps or lower when other accessories where on (light, wipers, ect) but when under throttlw the meter would read about 13-14 amps.....replaced alternator meter is now reading a strong 14-15 amps but will the needle will bounce up and down when the blinkers are on....any thoughts or answers???????

You're problem is fixed. You needed a new alternator and you got one. As for the needle jumping, that is not that uncommon. If the headlights are dimming in and out when the blinker is on, then I'd say you need to adress the issue but if it is just the needle bouncing don't sweat it.

how do I get rid of springwrap

On my dad's vehicle, everything would dim as the blinkers were running, turned out to be a faulty ground somewhere... Just a thought
