Weird noise from under center consoleish area

ok guys, got a sound comoin from either the t/c or the transmission. its sorta a whineing, and there is a definite grinding. checked transmission fluid, its good and donnt have the tools to check the t/c fluid. any ideas would be greatly appriciated as i need to get back to ky from va. will be in fl till the 28th, but need too get home asap after gettin back to virgina. need more info just ask ill tell you what i can. it only does it over 50 mph too

Sorry to say but the T/C fluid needs to be checked to verify the condition of that T/C and its fluid.

I've had all sorts of sounds come from that area, sound travels, the last time it was my right front hub. Time before that it was the front bearing in my transfer (which took years to actually die). Various clunks, mostly from the exhaust contacting the transmission cross brace.
Many sounds from various components, sound like they are coming from that area and may or may not be anywhere close in actuality.

well its in a shop now... i dont like the idea but it will get it fixed and thankfully my uncle is helpin me out. we have come up with several ideas... my rear diff has a small leak so it could be that makin the noise... my radiator got a leak on the way here so maybe the transmission aint cool enough and is overheating... also the t/c flui like i mentioned before... but since i didnt brinb my garage wit me the shop has to do all the work... i hate other people workin on my stuff. i so wish i was in va to do it myself... yall know how it is whn it come to yalls babies...

When i got back to the jeep, i checked all the fluids, and the t/c was completely empty... so i filled it up, the rear diff was low, so i filled it, and the transmission fluid was good color, smell, and level, but it had lots of little air bubbles on it... i drove it alot that yesterday to make sure it would be ok and it was actin fine... i decided to start on my trip home and in beckley,wv it finally quit movin... it has a really bad growling noise like it grindin gears and does it in every gear including neutral... and it keeps rolling when you put it in park, so i got my dad comin to haul it and us back, but still need any ideas you guys have so i can get it back on the road asap, as its my only vehicle right now... thanks so much!

btw, i can probably post a video of the noise it makes, and it smokes really bad when you put it in gear too.
