I had this before, i cleaned out the vent in front of the wind shield and it went away.. now after all summer it rains again and now its wet...:? i cleaned it out again and its perfectly clear.. where else could the water be coming from!?

Sure you got the leaves out of the drain tube?
I put some fine mesh screen under that grate years ago to prevent this.

my 91 had an issue with the seal b/w the body and bottom of windshield frame (i lower mine alot!) - i changed out the seal and the problem went away - just another thing to check... hope it helps!

Have you ever folded your front windshield down? Sometimes the rubber seal around the bottom doesn't seat properly when you put it up. At least that's what I've been told. Mine gets wet everytime it rains or I leave it where the sprinklers can hit it. I just don't care anymore and everytime I find the urge to fold the windshield down and look at it I quickly lose it again.

Something that may be completely unrelated...

Anyone else put the top back on? When I had my TJ, my gf drove it a lot in the summer... which gets a lot of flash storms here in PA. When she put the top on, she would zipper the back windows, but not put the vertical tab in the slot (the one that goes up and down behind the door). On more than one occasion, this caused a lot of wet carpet.

I hit a bird the other day on the way to work (seems to be a recurring theme with me) and it tucked the upper seal on the windshield into the frame, and now that leaks when I drive in the rain.

My YJ used to do that too. All I had to do was put a new weather seal on the window and now it doesn't leak.
