What did you do to your Jeep today?

Fender flare mounted with the spacers on. The view is from underneath of the fender flare. The spacers made the installation of the flares a rock solid fit. Because them I could tighten the screws really tight.

Good for you. By the looks of it, it looks like had too much fun and some of us are jealous..... When you get to pend time with your kid and go mudding at the same time, you are having lots of fun.

Drove for 6.5 hours last night to get home, it's normally a 4 hour trip but about 2 hours into it, my brother called and asked his wife, who was in the back seat, if she had the keys to their car, which was back at the place we had left. She looked in her purse and said yes. So we drove back an hour and met my brother to drop them off. Then we took off again. Instead of getting home at 1930, we got home at 2130. The jeep did great though, 17.5 on the first tank, the one leaving.corpus which was almost half way empty to start with. Filled it up in Hondo and then drove to rio frio. Did a sight seeing trip of 100 and something miles through the curvy mountainous roads on 1/4 o the second tank and still ended up getting 18.5 mpg on that tank. The third tank looks like it will be around the same as I am almost to 300 on the tank and the needle is looking to be in the same place as the other two tanks

1. Somehow fixed the headlights when I went rooting around. I don't know what I did.
2. Replaced the ballast resistor so all four fan speeds work again.

Done some work on the trailer today. The floor is now welded on. 1/8 steer diamond plate when done it will be really strong and better than it ever was. Grisly over engineered but it will last for a long time. Attached is a pic of the old cross member andyou can see what the wood flooring did o it. Wood holds moisture and I eventually rusts everything it rests upon.... Check out he picture of what the wood did to it in 4 years. The only thing left of the old trailer is the axle....

Our Jeep club met at 4Wheelparts for coffee & doughnuts and then meet up with the local police & fire department for an escort to the Fire House. The caravan was about 17 jeeps and 3 trucks. We donated our toys, which the fireman really appreciated. It was a good amount of bikes and toys. Felt good to give.

In between the various moments of rain, managed to apply the retro decals to the Jeep and removed the 'Sport' and 'Wrangler' decals. Received the grille inserts and will probably mess with that during the week.
