I second Washington( or even the NW) but must say washougal doesnt have no mall crawlers.. .. :lol: jk
My mom lives just outside Moorefield WV which is in the Blue Ridge section of the Appalachian mountains. There are plenty of public access roads that lead to trails,streams,rivers,and hunting/camping areas. Most of the folks out there drive pickups so when I drive my cj into town they know I'm not a localboy.Still friendly people. Take Interstate 81 to rt 55 towards Strausburg and enjoy the ride. I go out there about 2-3 times a year,it's beautiful all year round.

Sorry guys...was busy taking care of my 36 children who are all on welfare from my 12 wives....oh and thanks for the support all of you working class people.
Is a jeep a jeep if it has jeep written on the side? Is a Liberty a jeep? The Compass? Or the big ole Grand Cherokee? Are they any less because they have IFS? Power windows?
You wave to strangers driving down the road not because you ride the short bus....its because they are driving a jeep.
Parking? why do you go out of your way just to park to another jeep?
Its because you hope to meet that person, hear about how he or she built that jeep and trade off roading tales.
I bet you own at least one or two shirts that say jeep.
Most of your real good friends own jeeps...or wish they did just to be part of the wild off road adventures you talk about.
Because owning a jeep is not status symbol. Your never going to see a billionaire drive up to a black tie party in a well dressed out jeep...lol I have!
Owning the most capable off-road vehicle is a way of life.
Your the type of person who would drive hundreds of miles just to spend the weekend with other jeepers going off road when you could do the same thing closer to home.
And that night you would welcome a complete stranger to your camp fire just because he drives a jeep.
You would do that any other time?
Round lights, or square...IFS or 2wd, a Jeep is a Jeep. An American invention, just like the Harley Davidson Motor cycle.
And the only difference there is that they wear leather garments with there club patches on the back and we display our colors on the side in the form a a sticker, of which club we ride with.
Heck...would any other people spend 5 minutes reading the ramblings of some guy who lives in Utah with ONE wife and two step kids...and the only reason your reading this is because your addicted to a jeep.
And your looking for fellow people who share this very same passion.

utah i think you hit the nail right on the head,beighn so quick to judge other people,just because they dont drive ajeep,thres all kinds of 4x4s to me its like beighn racist whats the difference?ask me about my 4x4 and ill ask you about mine.insecuredness and to much pride has no room on this earth.and on the other hand there is other forums,FREEDOM FOR ALL.

i went to visit a friend he moved to a little town in n/c called robinsville one post office two trafic light one supermarket maybe population 500 i saw about 25 cjs or maybe it was a convention or something.:lol::lol::lol: the only bad thing was no booze(drycounty):lol::lol:jeep and no beer.

Muttnutt, if you ever get to the north east, I would love to have you tag along with me on the trail. We'll test that beast to see what it can do, you obviously have the back up out of the parking lot on to a grassy knoll trail mastered.

im glad you like it johnny.
there are tons of jeeps here.
but none like this (that i know of)
i dont ever remember seeing a jeep like this one anywhere.
unmolested with these factory drivetrain options.
the more i drive it the better i like it.
I think this needs to be the Jeepz.com credo. Or Creed, or theme, or motto or whatever you call it. It needs to be on the front page of Jeepz.com. :!:

miami harley davidson sponsored christmas run in july,police escort 826 exway all the way down to tropical park motorcycles and custom cars welcome rock band and girls washing cars and bikes,drank a few beers,fogot about picture taking i got a couple,in south florida we have events like this every single week,thats why its called paradise.me and my buddy ed 1930 model A

Just doing some catching up here...interesting graph. Thought it odd that #2 would be Pa, since cancer usually gets the best of us up here...must be more enthusiasts up this way. (I know quite a few) I currently have my eye on a resonably priced one in Iowa. Thanks for the "fun facts"

There are tons of them up here, they're EVERY where... But none were really bought to go off road.They're pretty much all stock. (Although mine is too for now.:redface

Out here in CA there are alot of them including the Flat fender Willys they are just alll playing in the mountians...
