I do not know what the codes are, but if you have replaced the alternator and battery, you need to tell us why. Does the gauge not show enough voltage? is the alternator not charging the battery? Is your battery drained after a few days of running it? What else is it doing? Why did you change the alternator and battery? Have you checked the wiring from the battery to the starter to the alternator? You may have a fusible link burned out if it is not charging. The computer is not responsible for the charging system. I am not saying that the ECM (computer) is good, but what you are describing is not the computers fault. It may have been damaged when you had your electrical malfunction, but you need to fix the malfunction before spending $300+ on a part you may not need. You are going to want to trust me on this. I speak from experience. Let me give you some advice. If you are not comfortable working and inspecting the electrical system, go to a mechanic and tell them that your electrical system is not charging (if that is the case, I'm still not sure if you meant that). DO NOT tell them about the codes. They will most likely inspect the electrical system and the will find the problem. Once the problem is fixed, wait and see if your ECM goes back to normal (50+ miles of driving would be fine) it will need some time to reset itself. I am not too familiar with the DC ECM, so if you need to, go to AutoZone and have them reset your computer (erase codes) Then we will go from them and diagnose your problem. If you want help, please asnwer our questions and we will be happy to help you out. It is difficult to help you if we do not know what the symptoms are. Let us know what you will be doing.-Al[addsig]
