where's the frame-up 65 CJ5?

That would be me . . well i think your talking about me. It was a 1963 cj-5, i just got it hurculined and lemme tell you it looks grand. I finished up all the body work before it and the liner covered up all of it nicly. . . cuz i had a few flaws here and there . . . hehe. I just left arizona which is where my jeep is and wont be back until christmas time so i cant really work on it to much, i'll still be lookin for parts and such but other than that im jeepless for the next 4 months :( .

Next summer i should have it back together and running the trails in good shape hopefully. I plan on doing an SOA on it for some rock crawling and a fairly cheap big lift with a lot of flex. When im doing that im gonna invest a few days into por-15 'ing the frame , axels, and suspension components. After that is done i'll proboly do a mod here and there on the engine and such but proboly nothing major. Tell me what you think and if im missing some mod that is absolutly nessicarry thats big. I know i have to do some regearing here, possibly throw in a rear locker and a few other little things, but no month long projects. ~ Justin

Good luck - I know when I had to put things off for a while, it drove me up a wall. The por 15 I used on some rust spots worked well, but I was too cheap to use it everywhere, and being too cheap showed up when I put a bed liner down. Instead of breaking down for hurcuiner, I went with the duplo color stuff. It was only 25 buck per gallon. Now, it's cracking and peeling. I'm going to have to grind it all off and start again.

In any case, give some pics when you get it all going
