Lol i hear ya. I just finished a nice 496 bbc for my summer truck. Dynoed at 685 hp and im going to spray it to. Should be fun. Cost about 12,000 to build but no expense was spared.
I hear ya i want to do a twin turbo small block. I love turbos. Graceful power lol. You can drive everyday and if you want. Hammer down and hey 1200 hp like that.
Ya I only get about 14 mpg lol but of course if you go with a big block or a stroker your mpg probabaly wont improve, but there's the upside of more power lol 383's seem to be pretty popular with the CJ guys.
Just a thought, might want to think about runnin some water thru your rigs. Sea foam is ok but may smoke out your city. Id say its a side effect of no smog, no smog check= no need to worry about carbon. Just think of all the weight those pistons where lugging around.
I pulled my valve cover off to replace my valve cover gasket and I stumbled upon this... would a good clean from above along with a good clean from underneath and then run some seafoam be enough to clean this up or is there a bigger problem I should look into? I really can't afford to rebuild right now so any feed back would be appreciated
I wouldnt try to flush it. Thats pretty bad. Flush that and you risk hzving bigger particles break away and plug something. Keep clean oil in her and hope for the best.
