YJ rear bumper

I don't see too much on rear bumpers for the YJ. Anyone got any good experience with one in the $500 or less range? A rear tire carrier would be a bonus.

Do you have access to a welder? I made mine with a swing out carrier. When I was in the market for one there wasn't much that I saw that didn't blow my wallet to pieces.

Not sure where you've been looking but almost every 4x4 parts site has bumpers for YJs. Found this one for less than $300, on sale.

That one looks interesting. The thing that would concern me is the Ubolts on the tire carrier lock. Looks like it is thin diameter... like 1/4". I run 35's, I wonder if that would hold it shut when the going got rough.

I first saw this bumper on JeepForum. The people that have bought it say it seems to be pretty sturdy. I'm going to wait for more feedback. Hard to beat the price though.
