Zipper on a soft top?

I was trying to put my rear window on my soft top today and i broke the zipper. So now i have no rear window. Anyone know if i can replace the zipper or do i need to replace the whole top. the rear window is new, the top is steelhorse sunrider. thanks

A lot of guys on here have had good luck taking it to a marine shop that works with canvas stuff and having them repair it.

I took one of mine to a local upolstery shop and had the zipper replaced. They can usually stitch one in pretty quick.

Hi-Ya bluejeep,

You might have to do some patient phone-book sluething to find someone who will fix/replace your top zipper.

Try anyplace with industrial-strength sewing machines: marine canvas shops, canvas awning makers, upholstery shops, shoe-repair shops, yada, yada.

If you have a "RAYCO" auto repair shop nearby, I would recommend RAYCO for this purpose.

You never know what side jobs craftspeople take on.

For example; a local shoe-repair shop also mends horse tack as a sideline biz.

Thanks for the Help, but the problem is not the stiching, i need to find a new zipper. the stiching i can do get my mom to do
