    Distributor position

Thanks for the info. It starts up fine, just seems to run a little rough. I did re-install it with the bolt in the slot and moved the plug wires accordingly. I'm thinking I just need new plugs now.

    Distributor position

:redface:Alright, this is probably going to seem like a really stupid question to those of you who are actually mechanics. I got my Jeep put back together after replacing the motor and transmission mount bolts and was replacing the parts that broke along with those bolts, the starter and...

    Motor mount breakage!

No cash for new mounts, and only the bolts broke so I'm just replacing the bolts. Sucks to be poor.

    Motor mount breakage!

The three bolts that hold the mount to the engine block broke. Maybe too many years of yanking people out of the deep snow with the tow rope finally took it's toll?

    Motor mount breakage!

A month ago, I was driving along a bumpy mountain road when I heard a loud "CLUNK". Looked behind and didn't see any parts or oil so I figured it was a rock hitting my driveline or something. Well, half hour later, another loud "CLUNK" and this time the Jeep just shut down.:x Turns out the...

    A little scare......

I can't imagine doing 90 in my Jeep. But a few weeks ago, I hit 45mph while being towed down a winding mountain road behind another Jeep and that was a little scary too. Almost passed the other guy!:shock:

32" Wild Country XTX full set $500

I've got a complete set of four, siped Wild Country XTX tires on the black Daytona rims. Probably 75% tread, plus a spare tire that's like new, not on a rim. I went and got 33's so they're just taking up space and I'm needing money cause my motor mount broke and took some other stuff with it...

    Motor Mount Bolts

Thanks for the advice, I'll pick up some PB Blaster tomorrow. Why did this happen right before archery season? Upon further inspection the transmission crossmember bolts snapped too, but that probably happened when my buddy was towing me down the mountain at 50 miles per hour. I almost...

    Jubilee Run

We went up Saturday, found a line of rigs watching one guy who had slid off the road. I was with two other jeeps. Didn't get past Baldy though as there was people sliding all over the road on the last hill before it. Check out the bumper modification I made on my buddy's Toyota that night...

    Jubilee Run

It's expected to keep snowing all week too. You might have better luck coming up from Elgin than trying to get in from Tollgate though. I only have 33" tires on my little YJ but I'm going to give it hell on Friday. If we can't get to Jubilee, we might go explore Summit Road instead. Less "law...
